Nashville Sex Coach— Scott Schwertly
If you've been searching for a sex coach in Nashville, you've likely discovered something quickly: the resources available in this space are either clinical, generic, or genuinely hard to find.
That gap is exactly what I'm here to fill.
I'm Scott Schwertly — Nashville's sex and intimacy coach, founder of Coelle, and someone who works from a simple conviction: that everyone deserves a knowledgeable, warm, judgment-free guide for this part of life. Not when things fall apart. From the beginning.
What a Sex Coach in Nashville Actually Does
The term "sex coach" carries a lot of cultural baggage — most of it inaccurate. Let me be direct about what this work actually is.
A sex coach works with fundamentally healthy individuals and couples who want to build something better in their intimate lives. The work is conversational, educational, and action-oriented. It is not clinical therapy. It does not involve physical contact of any kind. Every session happens fully clothed — in person in Nashville or virtually via video — in a completely confidential, professional environment.
What sex coaching actually addresses is the territory most people navigate entirely alone: desire and what happens to it over time in long-term relationships. The shame and inherited beliefs about sexuality and the body that quietly limit intimate experience. The communication breakdown that happens when couples can't talk honestly about what they want. The gap between the intimate life a person has and the one they sense is possible. The embodied presence that genuine intimate connection requires and that most people have never been taught to develop.
This is not fringe work. It is one of the most underserved dimensions of most people's lives — and it responds powerfully to intentional, guided investment.
Who Nashville Sex Coaching Is For
Individuals
Individuals who want to develop a more honest relationship with their own desire, their body, and what they actually want from intimacy — with or without a partner in the picture.
Couples
Couples navigating desire mismatch, emotional disconnection, communication breakdown around sex, or the quiet erosion of intimate aliveness that happens in long-term relationships when this dimension goes uninvested.
High Achievers
High achievers who have built remarkable professional and personal lives and are ready to build an intimate life to match — people who apply the same intentionality to this dimension that has served them in every other area.
People of faith
People of faith who want to explore intimacy within a framework that honors their values — in a shame-free, inclusive space that takes faith seriously rather than dismissing it.
LGBTQ+ individuals and couples
LGBTQ+ individuals and couples who want a genuinely affirming, inclusive coaching space that meets them where they actually are without requiring them to translate their experience through heteronormative assumptions.
What Sex Coaching in Nashville Is Not
Because the term carries misconceptions worth addressing directly:
Sex coaching is not sex therapy. Sex therapy is licensed clinical work designed to diagnose and treat psychological conditions and process trauma within a regulated clinical framework. Coaching works with healthy people building toward something better. If significant trauma or a clinical presentation is present, I will always tell you honestly and refer you to an appropriate licensed practitioner rather than proceed where coaching isn't the right tool.
Sex coaching does not involve physical contact. Every session is conversation only — professional, boundaries-clear, and completely confidential.
Sex coaching is not a last resort. Some of the most motivated clients I work with are couples in genuinely good relationships who have decided that their intimate lives deserve proactive investment. You don't have to wait for things to break down to benefit from this work.
